Advantages:Bi-Level Leak Rate minimization when positioned and maintained to enable improved synchronous inspiratory breath delivery.
Benefits: Enables a respiratory practitioner to apply something that does seal the Nasogastric tube, providing less leak. Minimal time required to apply the device to trial, and easy to remove, reposition as required. Many patients are cycled on and off the mask during a shift, and the device does not involve any time consuming steps. Leak rates are a frustration for any practitioner working with a patient to deliver IPAP and EPAP efficaciously.
